Scott,

After reading your info. on your blog site, I am now more thoroughly convinced that it is only a matter of time before you gain employment. You are on top of your game and those blogs were very well written. Although I know little about advertising and marketing, even myself knows through the reading of these articles that you do know what you are talking about and your ideas are good ones.

I totally agree. The new technology needs to be integrated as part of the overall marketing mix. It will be interesting to see how the media landscape looks in three to five years, perhaps even shorter. It reminds me of when desktop computing systems changed the way we did business in the mid 1980's. Things changed so fast and so often, it was nearly impossible to keep up with technology.

Has or is news that important to the current generation growing up? Are they as interested in traditional news reporting or gravitate more toward social issues as opposed to the latest fire, bank robbery, business scandal or tax proposal?

I do agree traditional media needs to survive. And it will, just not at the level we have grown up with. (aging myself)

To overlook new technology is also a mistake. Each generation has gravitated to the source they prefer, you must embrace this.
